With Ron's help, Yesterday's Nightclub, situated on Fort Lauderdale's waterways, achieved Restaurants & Institutions’ national ranking of 17th, with annual sales exceeding $17 million. The entire nightclub operation rested on Ronald's shoulders and he brought great consistency by always maintaining the highest quality of standards for this four - star establishment. His position included supervising inventory control and purchasing, the selection and training of personnel and administering financial activities and operational planning, such as forecasting and budgeting. In addition, Ron also handled all in-house promotions, advertising and public relations.
Shortly after leaving Yesterday's, most of
Ron's patrons followed him to his next venture, Flix Restaurant and
Nightclub. Within months, Yesterday's Nightclub had permanently closed,
the Restaurant, however, remained open until 2008.
