WHERE: Hilton Hotel at Walt Disney World
Village, Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
WHAT: Juice, a one-year-old male collie, bolted from his owner
attempting to check in at Hilton Hotel to escape Hurricane Andrew. Highly
publicized; a
Lassie look-a-like missing for 13 days, while his owner conducted a
massive 50 sq. mile air/land search, incorporating helicopters, State
Police, The Humane Society and Animal Control agencies. Perseverance, a
proliferation of news stories, personally posting signs and newspaper ads
and offering a $1,200 reward, finally paid off when Juice was found in the
woods and returned safely home.
