Managing Partner
August 1990 - August 1995

Named "Hottest Nightspot in Ft. Lauderdale" by South Florida Magazine for two consecutive years, it was Ron who created and developed the original movie theme and ambiance, and even established a continuous redecorating program at Flix Restaurant and Nightclub.  

Naturally, as Managing Partner Ron assumed complete responsibility for all operations of the upscale hi-tech night spot. He developed and implemented marketing policies and strategies, oversaw the purchase of supplies, food and beverages, supervised menu development and quality control, and was also responsible for budgeting and fiscal management.

Involved in every aspect of the business, Mr. Cerasuolo expertly developed strong working relationships with media personnel in order to publicize and exploit the enterprise, and furthermore, had Flix promoting media events such as hosting Miss Florida USA Beauty Pageant.

Always trying to maximize customer service and satisfaction, Ron recruited an outstanding staff of bartenders and support personnel, thus securing extensive exposure in many area magazines and newspapers. The public loved that he was so strongly involved with the daily customer relations!

Ironically, in 1995 Flix was actually in a flick. The movie Strip Tease starring Demi Moore and Bert Reynolds was filmed there. Demi's husband at the time, Bruce Wills, used the concept and theme of Flix to create Planet Hollywood with fellow stars Sly Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger .

After five wonderful years, it was decided that Flix should close while still getting rave reviews.
